Bought just over a year ago for university, however, I used iPad instead. I have my own desktop computer at home that I am much more comfortable using, hence, the macbook has never seen any regular usage. The state of the device shows (in practically brand new condition)
This Macbook has been kept in pristine condition with no scratches or marks. The list of safety precautions taken on the macbook include:
FULL BODY Macbook wrap (identical colour to macbook) to keep from scratches on both top and bottom of the macbook (cost me $50.000) - can be seen on pictures 2 & 3 (barely noticeable that there is a skin on it)
Touch pad + palm resting area also covered in identical coloured skin to keep from scratches (cost me $15.00) - (can be seen on picture 1)
Matte Anti-glare screen protector on the screen - (can be seen on picture 1)
The macbook is in excellent condition. No scratches on the macbook or on the screen. It has been kept safely on my desk and has never been dropped, mishandled or ever had any problems being hardware or software. Don'y pay $1,849, grab a bargain!
